Abstract

Summary

The study of the environmental assessment of the implementation of the local wastewater treatment system at Korostyshiv Paper Mill LLC is relevant due to the growing attention to environmental protection and sustainable development. In recent years, due to economic and environmental constraints, the processes associated with the manufacture of paper and cardboard, due to the lack of own production of primary fiber semi-finished products, have been improved in the direction of increasing the share of waste paper use, which leads to significant pollution of industrial wastewater, and increasing the use of treated natural water in technological processes.

The aim of the study is to improve the environmental safety of the cardboard and paper products production through the development and application of scientifically sound integrated resource-efficient wastewater treatment technologies.

The results of the study can be used to develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of the wastewater treatment system and minimizing the negative impact of the enterprise on the environment.
