Abstract

Summary

This article presents the development of algorithms for creating a three-dimensional terrain model of the Korolivski Beskydy National Nature Park using QGIS 3.40. The Copernicus GLO-30 digital elevation model (DEM) with a spatial resolution of 30 meters was created within the park boundaries, reprojected to UTM zone 34N, and visualized in 3D using the Qgis2threejs plugin. The resulting 3D model, combined with aggregated statistical data, provides an objective, visual, and quantitative basis for park management and conservation efforts. The application of geoinformation technologies for terrain modeling and analysis has broad practical significance for landscape change monitoring, recreational planning, geobotanical research, and biodiversity conservation within the park’s ecosystems.
