Abstract

Summary

The results of the analysis and generalization of the petrophysical properties of sedimentary cover rocks and the underlying crystalline basement are considered. Based on these materials, a reinterpretation of geoelectrical works on the Southern Kryvbas was performed. The relevance of the research is to study the petrophysical properties of sedimentary cover rocks in order to search for weakened zones that are formed as a result of changes in the hydrodynamic regime of groundwater during the migration of highly mineralized waters. The obtained petrophysical properties of sedimentary cover rocks, together with an expanded set of geophysical observations, can be used as an improved method for detecting areas of fresh groundwater in areas that are under the influence of technogenic factors (exhausted areas of mine fields, quarries, residential and industrial communication networks and other anthropogenic components). Therefore, special attention was paid to the study of petrophysical properties of rocks and the development of an interpretation method that could be used in the future to solve similar problems using previously obtained geophysical materials for various purposes and assessing the influence of tectonics for the localization of freshwater and technogenic water distribution sites.
