Abstract

Summary

Borehole geophysical data, including conventional log, borehole images, acoustic, and nuclear magnetic resonance tool were deployed to capture subsurface characteristics within the geothermal reservoirs. High resolution borehole imaging provides insight into fracture network, structural framework and stress regime, while the acoustic data provides information from the rock mechanical properties, permeability and stress analysis. This study exemplifies the application of advanced geophysical techniques for the detailed characterization of geothermal sandstone reservoirs. The integration of geological and petrophysical data provides an improved understanding of the structural framework and geological evolution, enhancing the prediction of reservoir properties and facilitating the delineation of prolific versus non-prolific zones.
