Abstract

Summary

Ground force signal quality plays a fundamental role in vibroseis seismic data acquisition. The complex nature of ground force signal generation requires comprehensive analysis across multiple domains for its quality evaluation. This study introduces a cross-domain validation analysis: checking energy distribution patterns in time domain, examining harmonic composition in frequency domain, and tracking phase relationships in analytic domain. By analyzing signal properties across multiple domains, we establish robust quality indicators including temporal integrity patterns, fundamental mode dominance, and phase synchronization measures. When applied to calibration datasets, this cross-domain approach demonstrates clear differentiation between high-quality and low-quality signals. The analysis provides a comprehensive methodology for ground force signal quality assessment while maintaining computational efficiency.
