Abstract

Summary

We have developed an adaptive mesh optimization algorithm for semi-airborne transient electromagnetic method with induced polarization effect. We use the Caputo definition format to discretize the fractional derivative, and combine the finite element method to realize the 3D forward simulation directly in the time domain. According to the posteriori error defined by the electromagnetic field continuity condition, the mesh is refined. Numerical experimental results verify the effectiveness of our algorithm.
