Abstract

Summary

The mineralization potential in the coverage area is immense, and conducting mineral exploration in this area holds great significance. However, the masking effect of the coverage layer leads to more severe ambiguity in gravity inversion. To improve the accuracy of gravity inversion within the coverage area, we propose a novel coverage depth constraint that combines physical boundary constraints based on known prior coverage layer thickness. A synthetic example demonstrates the effectiveness and improvements achieved with this new constraint.
