Abstract

Summary

In addition to the attenuation of complex multiples, high-precision velocity models are also key factors determining the imaging quality of shallow-water data. Taking a shallow high-resolution processing survey in the Bohai Oilfield as an example, this paper focuses on demonstrating that the use of high-precision FWI has greatly improved the resolution of the velocity model, with faults and other velocity anomalies being clearly delineated. Compared with the vintage processing results, the migration results using FWI velocities have significantly reduced the depth prediction errors of sand bodies.
