Abstract

Summary

Continuous microseismic events occur in the coal mining process, and the accurate localization of events is essential for mine safety monitoring and operational management. In this study, Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) is deployed on the ground of Caojiatan Mine to continuously collect the data from coal mining machine excavation over an extended period. Firstly, the data are preprocessed to enhance the signal-to-noise rate (SNR), and then the localization and tracking of events are performed using seismic interferometry. The localization results are consistent with the mining activities within the mine, effectively identifying the mine sources and providing a reliable foundation for ensuring coal mine safety.
