Abstract

Summary

Permeability is a major control on production in fractured basement reservoirs. Identifying and characterizing permeable zones is critical not only for evaluating well production potential but also for future well projects, such as designing perforation, well completion, or injection strategies. This study will utilize the Neural Network Method to determine porosity and permeability values in the Fracture Basement zone. Integrating well and seismic data will help explore other potential areas and identify the best correlations between attributes for maximal analysis of the fracture basement. Various scenarios will be carried out to understand the potential development of fractures in the Basement Formation.
