Omnia Maps is Equinor’s new spatial ecosystem, launched companywide in January 2024 with the goal of providing the users with a one-stop platform that empowers everyone regardless of geospatial skill to deliver exceptional value. The solution aims to be reliable, usable and fit for purpose, offering global mapping solutions to all teams, regions, functions and disciplines in Equinor.

The primary purpose of Omnia Maps is to streamline how geospatial data is consumed and shared across various teams and projects. With energy operations spanning exploration, production and renewables, Equinor relies heavily on accurate, up-to-date spatial information for decision-making, planning, and collaboration. Omnia Maps addresses these needs by providing a user-friendly platform that integrates diverse data sources, geospatial tools and software, learning resources, governance guidelines, professional services and user support. Democratizing the data and solutions, making it easily accessible for all employees.
