Signal Spectrum Broadening Based on the Attraction of the Energy of Harmonics in the Vibroseis Method
Authors M. Denisov and M. ShneersonSummarySignal generation in vibroseis method is accompanied by the appearance of harmonics. They are formed by the multiple frequencies relative to the fundamental frequency. Harmonics are usually regarded as noise. Later understanding of their usefulness to broaden the signal bandwidth waves has come. The algorithm we suggest implies the complex vibroseis signal as a sum of harmonics enabling broadband spectrum processing. The performance of the algorithm is demonstrated on both the synthetic and real data.

Express Method for Extraction the Scattered Component by Means of Regularization
By A. FatyanovSummaryIn this paper, a method for extraction the scattered component is considered. It is based on the previously developed method of suppressing multiple waves. To extraction the weakly scattered component, the regularization method is used. The regularization is carried out over the spatial and temporal frequencies. This does not require additional cleaning from noise. This made it possible to obtain an express technique for extraction the scattered component. Examples of processing of real data in the presence of hydrocarbon deposits are given. The most outstanding distinction of the proposed methods of seismic data processing is their independence of the depth-velocity model.

Data Mining in Solving Oil and Gas Problems
Authors A.A. Dragunov and S.V. ChernovSummaryCybernetic modeling (Data Mining) is widely used by TNG-Kazangeophysica LLC for 15 years. During this time, we have accumulated rich experience in solving various geological problems from geophysical, geochemical and remote studies. The article gives examples of the successful application of Data Mining in prospecting and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits. It is noted that the most appropriate use of Data Mining is in the study of “unconventional” sources of hydrocarbons, to describe which there is currently no adequate theoretical basis.

Deconvolutional Fourier-splines Based Method for Geophysical Data Conversion With Compression
More LessSummaryThe material of the report continues the direction of the reports on “Geomodel-2008/2009/2016/2017”. As a result of the applied investigations based on the new functions class “Fourier-splines” the innovative approach to the data representation and saving and also compression excluding weak components was introduced. The solution is especially actual in geophysics where particularly seismic cubes have the amount up to tens Gygabytes (and even more). The regular equidistant data conversion is got by the mostly simple algorithm as a couple of recursive filters with alternating coefficients. In general case (prognosis maps synthesis as an example) the solution is implemented based on additionally optimized the conjugated gradients method. The method is especially efficient via the hardware acceleration (parallel processing GLSL/NVIDIA CUDA). Consequently the universality of the proposed method for arbitrary dimensions data (1D - seismotraces, 2D - profiles, horizons and maps, 3D - seismic cubes) the further perspective development of the general digital standard is carrying out (incuding digital HDTV and DVD).

The Oil and Gas Content of the Riphean Deposits of the Interfluve of the Nizhnyaya and Podkamennaya Tunguska
Authors A.N. Protsko and N.A. IvanovaSummaryProspects of oil and gas content of the Riphean deposits of the Nizhnyaya and Podkamennaya Tunguska interfluves from the point of view of the prerequisites for the formation of reservoir rocks, the presence of oil deposits and the conditions for reservoir preservation are considered. Based on a complex interpretation of seismic data and deep drilling wells, the geological map of the pre-Vendian erosion surface served as a basis for identifying zones of possible development of reservoirs in the Riphean deposits for the Baikit, Katanskaya and Severo-Tunguska oil and gas regions. A forecast is given for the distribution of hydrocarbon deposits by the phase composition in the Riphean complex

Estimation of Reliability of the Forecast of Net Thicknesses Obtained From the 3D Seismic Survey Attributes Analysis
More LessSummaryIn this research paper the estimation of accuracy and reliability of the forecast of net thicknesses by using seismic attributes was reviewed. The information obtained during drilling allowed to complete an analysis of the performed forecast, the relation to the the dynamic analysis results was considered. It was ascertained which factors influence the model, the forecast error was estimated. A method for the quantitative estimation of the reliability of the forecast of net thicknesses was proposed. Conclusions about quantitative criteria for the applicability of forecasting were made.

Geofluid Dynamics of the Cenozoic Sedimentary Basins of the Caspian-black Sea Region
Authors R.N. Mustaev, V.Yu. Kerimov, K.I. Dantsova and L.I. KerimovaSummaryThe most important feature of the structure of the Caspian-Black Sea region is the intense state of its subsoil, high and diverse geodynamic, volcanic, seismic, geofluidodynamic activity, etc. Geodynamic activity is associated with various kinds of discharge of fluid dynamic stresses, primarily intensive ascending discharges of various mobile fluids and their components - oils and gases, clay flows and the manifestation of thermobaric anomalies. A vivid manifestation of geodynamic activity is its explosive variety - “sedimentary” volcanism: mud, gas and oil, mixed, etc., which in turn determine the intensity of geofluidodynamic processes.

The Role of Organic Porosity in the Formation of Hydrocarbon Accumulations in Low-permeability Shale Strata
Authors M.V. Zaharchenko, V.Yu. Kerimov, R.N. Mustaev and I.M. SalihovaSummaryAn important role in the formation of hydrocarbon accumulations in hydrocarbon-bearing strata is played by organic porosity - void spaces of organic origin formed as a result of the transformation of organic matter into hydrocarbons. The results of the conducted studies of organic porosity make it possible to consider that organic pores in the texture of kerogen make a significant contribution to the space of newly formed reservoirs in the thickness of the oil-material rocks.

The Origin of Hydrocarbons in Granite Massifs of the Provenozoic Basement of the Kyulong Basin (Vietnam)
Authors V.Yu. Kerimov, A.V. Osipov, R.N. Mustaev and Vu Nam HaiSummaryFor more origin criteria oilfield White Tiger analyzed the material composition of oil and organic matter surrounding rocks, including - the analysis of patterns of relative distribution of saturated hydrocarbons-biomarkers at the molecular level, as well as their group composition. The data obtained allow us to confirm at a qualitatively new level the conclusion about the organic nature of oil in the crystalline basement of the Vietnamese shelf. Lying in the base of hydrocarbon deposit White Tiger by its characteristics do not differ from oil in the sedimentary sequences of Oligocene-Miocene cheholnogo complex, and those, in turn, complementary to the organic matter contained in sediments. These data suggest quite confidently that the accumulation of hydrocarbons in the foundation Kyulongskogo pool are in the secondary occurrence, and that the source of their formation is a sedimentary organic matter of productive systems of the Oligocene age.
