Abstract

Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) is a method used to construct images of the electrical conductivity inside a domain from electrical potential measurements at the boundaries. In this research, ERT is used to construct images of the three-dimensional solute concentration distribution in a laboratory experiment. This article focuses on the development and testing of the ERT measurement system that will be used for the visualization of the mixing of a saline tracer.
