Delivering World Class Wells in Qatar’s North Field: Integrating Innovation and Execution

Systematic technology collaboration and teamwork have been used to capture the benefits of innovation while maintaining<br>world class execution. Multi-disciplinary collaboration in the functional area of well delivery has resulted in significantly<br>reduced drilling times and highly productive multi-zone completions. Complementing several other 2009 IPTC papers and<br>posters that describe the technical details, this paper discusses organizational and management practices that have been<br>successful in taking joint venture collaboration to the next level.
