Geometric 2 attributes in particular seismic coherence have been widely used in the last years to analyze 3D seismic data since a classic paper by Bahorich and Farmer in 1995. However most of the experience that has been reported so far in the use of geometric attributes is related to conventional 3D P-wave seismic data.
