Abstract

Magnetic, electromagnetic, and resistivity imaging measurements were taken in an area where a field laboratory for controlled geophysical experiments is being constructed. The field laboratory is going to be used mainly for teaching and for training students in<br>collecting geophysical field data. The work was performed to know the geophysical answer of the natural environment (background) before artifacts to simulate geophysical anomalies are buried in the area. The measurements showed several anomalies probably related to materials previously dumped in the area which was been used to discard useless materials, and indicated the best places to bury the artificial sources of anomalies.
