Simultaneous Geophysical Surveys Using A Towed Multisensor Platform and Its Application To Characterisation of Brownfield Sites

A rapid measurement technique for assessment of landfill areas and other environmentally sensitive areas. A multi sensor platform with real time data logging and navigation has been built to<br>allow rapid reconnaissance surveys over large areas thereby reducing survey time and costs dramatically. Sensors from many different disciplines can be mounted on the platform and data acquired simultaneously. Case histories from geological, environmental and archaeological sites are presented showing the attributes of the technique in all three applications.
