Hydrocarbon Field Development and Production Monitoring through Geologic Computer Model Maintenance

The proposed approach to creating the structure of the permanently active geologic model and the model use by corporate services and concepts that underlie the model maintenance would permit the modeling process to be made a permanently real, rather than episodic, tool for enhancing the oil recovery and reducing investment project risks. At the same time, a continuous update of the permanently active geologic model would allow an overall sharp increase in the effectiveness of the corporate geologic service and validity of decision-making with regard to the field production.
