Abstract

Permanently installed DC-resistivity electrode arrays offer the opportunity to accurately monitor very small changes in bulk resistivity with time. A set of two arrays were installed underground at the WIPP site in southeastern New Mexico, to monitor the development of the Disturbed Rock Zone and migration of fluids around an underground excavation in bedded salt.
