Basis For Moving Pass-Windows For Multiple Suppression

This work discusses the basis of a proposed passwindow<br>for selecting events interpreted on a seismic<br>trace, and on its autocorrelation function. The method<br>is a modification of the WHLP filter for the<br>suppression of multiples. The solution is justified by<br>the description of the effective-pulse as composed by<br>a series of multiples to be deconvolved, starting with<br>single-channel, and then extrapolated to multichannel<br>by a deterministic law.
