Abstract
A20 Insights from Fractional-Flow Theory for Models for Foam IOR Y. Dong* (Shell International Exploration and Production Inc) & W.R. Rossen (Delft University of Technology) SUMMARY In recent years a number of models have been proposed for steady-state foam mobility for the purpose of representing foam IOR processes on the field scale. Most of these models include an abrupt coarsening of foam at a limiting capillary pressure or water saturation. The most promising way to inject foam in the field is as "surfactant-alternating-gas" or SAG. We survey published foam models from the point of view of fractional-flow theory with particular
