El Mouty (AGIBA) SUMMARY The field located in the Egyptian Western Desert is mineralised at heavy oil (16°API 23 cP@RC)and it shows a current recovery factor of 1%. The objective of this study was to increase the oil production by investigating the applicability of different IOR/EOR techniques thermal and chemical methods included.
