Interpretação Gravimétrica da Bacia do Recôncavo Utilizando Inversão Não Linear

We present a gravity interpretation of the Recôncavo basin basement relief. To estimate the Bouguer anomaly produced by the sediment-basement interface, the robust polynomial fitting method was applied to the original Bouguer gravity data corrected for the gravity effect to the crust-mantle interface. We interpreted two gravity profiles across the basin strike using the smoothness constraint. We obtained an average estimated basement depth of about 6.32 km indicating a deep basement.
