Hydrothermally Enhanced Fractured Reservoirs – A New Play?

Have we ignored the possibility of hydrothermally enhanced fractured reservoirs as a play type in its own right? With the exception of Nang Nuan (Heward et al, 2000) and some references to the fractured granites in Vietnam (e.g. Hung and Le 2003), hydrothermally altered hydrocarbon reservoirs are largely unreported in the rocks of Southeast Asia.
