Abstract

Bananal basin is a geological feature placed at central west Brazil. Its shape is elongated at NNE-SSW direction, with 20° NE azimutal trend. Futhermore geological litherature reveals that this basin has no more that few meters to embasement level, but neither borehole was done. The top embasement varies in depth because it is extreamely folded. So some places the embasement is shallower.
