Abstract
Electromagnetic sounding of Earth interior is widely used both for scientific study and geophysical
prospecting of different kinds of deposits. The progress in electronics and technology allows to develop
corresponding geophysical instrumentation with high level of metrological and exploitational parameters.
Main types of recent generation of devices used for electromagnetic survey are described in the paper: fluxgate
and search-coil magnetometers and magnetotelluric stations.
