Abstract

The paper introduces the principles of organization and structure of the 3-component downhole tool<br>with the gyroscopic mechanism for determining the geophones orientation azimuth at every receiver<br>position. Operation and working modes of individual components of the device, including those of<br>the gyroscopic unit, are described. The data on the results of testing the experimental system in different<br>wells are presented.
