Abstract

A-29 NEW APPROACH FOR 4D PROCESSING WITH OBC DATA AND MARINE STREAMER DATA Abstract 1 The repeatability of marine streamer data and OBC data is generally rather poor because they are acquired in completely different conditions. So can we successfully combine both types of acquisition in order to detect a weak 4D signal? To examine this we introduce the concept of a common seismic cube and partial differences. The common seismic cube represents the invariant geology and is computed with a geostatistical method taking advantage of the redundancy of the seismic data. It shows a better signal to noise ratio
