Abstract
1 HEAVY OIL RECOVERY BY CO2 GAS CAP APPLICATION Abstract Z. BIRÓ and I. VASS MOL Plc.H-8801 Nagykanizsa PF 178 Hungary The field scale CO2 gas cap recovery is being conducted in the fractured karstic limestone and dolomite reservoirs of Nagylengyel field Hungary by the MOL Plc. The cavernous formations were created by karstic corrosion. The crude is a heavy oil with high density ( 950-980 kg/m 3 17-12°API ) and viscosity and practically contains no dissolved gas. Most of the hydrodynamically separated blocks have unlimited water inflow so natural water drive served as a source of energy during primary
