Abstract
S033 SILURIAN ACACUS PLAY IN GHADAMES BASIN SOUTHERN TUNISIA 1 KAMEL ROUROU ABDERRAHMEN OUAHCHI ALI M’RABET AND MOHAMED HEDI ACHECHE ETAP 27 bis Avenue Kheireddine Pacha BP 367 1002 Tunis Tunisia INTRODUCTION The Acacus play began in 1996 when the Oued Zar#1 well reentered by AGIP flowed 2500 BOPD from the low resistivity Upper Silurian Acacus sandstones. The reservoir has generally low resistivity values of less than 3ohm with some as low as 0.7ohms. Conventional logs analysis techniques calculate very high water saturations and are common reasons for potential zone to be bypassed or unrecognised. Re-evaluation of the reservoir based
