Establishing confidence in the physical basis of seismic attributes

As part of a study to determine the physical basis of seismic attributes for use in reservoir characterization and monitoring, we have worked with seismic data from four different fields, representing a range of rock types and data quality. In all of these gelds, there veere significant challenges to the interpretation of seismic data for useful purposes.
