oa Tenguiz Oil Field - Recovery Prediction by Expansion Above the Bubblepoint

The Giant Tenguiz oil field in Kaazakhstan was discovered in 1981 and put into development in 1991. The primary drive mechanism is of rock compaction and fluid expansion is above the bubblepoint. Due to anomal high initial reservoir pressure and large differente between initial reservoir pressure and saturation pressure, a record-high oil recovery is expected.
