Abstract
The Maitland gas field is located in the Barrow Sub-basin, offshore Western Australia. The well Maitland-1 was drilled in September 1992 on a strong amplitude anomaly. It intersected a 23m thick land with gas saturation. The well was plugged and abandoned as a gas discovery (Sit).
