Abstract
Seismic attributes can be defined as all seismically driven parameters. They offer alternative representations for the seismic data, that can highlight specific petrophysical/geological parameters and can be of great support to the interpreter. A well-known example is the presence of high amplitudes ("bright spot") in the seismic data indicating gas.
