f Transfer of Airborne Electromagnetic Interpretation Methods to Ground HLEM Measurements

Ground horizontal loop electromagnetic (EM) measurements are mostly interpreted only in a way that not the complete information of the data is evaluated. Some systems (e.g. EM31 by GEONICS) work in the "low induction" mode, i.e. that only the out-of-phase component is transformed into the "apparent conductivity". Other EM systems (e.g. MAXMIN by APEX) are mostly used to locate lateral inhomogeneities.
