f Reservoir Classification with Seismic Attributes

We present a procedure to map seismically sensitive reservoir characteristics derived from horizons picked on 3-D seismic data. Starting with the estimation of a number of seismic attributes over a time window, whose centre or either side is located at the picked horizon, we select a set of independent and reservoir-sensitive attributes graphically or automatically. We then cluster the attributes and partition the basemap into colour-coded regions of common seismic characteristics.
