Abstract

Geological structures can effectively be studied by geophysical methods when the petrophysical properties are favourable, the target consists of only few gently dipping layers and the structure is horizontatly nearly homogeneous. Problem might occur in the investigation of complex structures when the types and combination of survey methods and the data acquisition parameters should be carefully chosen, and the interpretation requires model calculations and time-consuming iterative approximations.
