The reliability of the seismic wavelet throughout a processed 3D data volume is a complex function of all the acquisition and processing techniques used in the development of the seismic volume. It is clear that specifications based on individual equipment or process performance are an inadequate measure of the ultimate reliability of the wavelet. (ref. Brink (1993)
