f Tectonics of some oil/gas prospective prvinces in the Alpine - Carpathian Orogenic Belt

In the ambition of studying the geodynamics of complex plate margins experimentally, we are conducting structural studies to establish the kinematic boundary conditions of Alpine-Carpathian orogenic belt. Here we present data from recent exploration studies in three key areas: the Northern Calcareous Alps of Austria, the West Carpathians of Slovakia, and the South Carpathians of Romania.
