f Inversion for the devine anisotropic medium

In two recent presentations we have separately discussed a crosswell data set recorded at BP's Devine test site in which strong p-wave anisotropy was clearly evident [2], and a method for accurate raytracing for transversely isotropic (TI) layered media [1] . In this presentation we combine these developments to describe an inversion method based on the accurate raytracing and apply it to the Devine data set .
