Abstract
3D visualisation is a recent and rapidly advancing technology. It provides a means of integrating a vast range of parameters into a single visual image which can be manipulated in infinitely variable ways for better understanding. The technique is widely used in reservoir appraisal and development, bringing significant advances in two main areas - (I) testing the viability of interpretations and (II) data integration and communication across disciplines.
