Abstract
The main objective of the benchmark test was to compare multiple elimination techniques based on the same concept (i.e modelling-subtraction). Five geophysical contractors were invited to compete on a selected seismic line. The methodology used includes a basic standard pre-processing, the application of the contractor multiple elimination technique and then a standard post-processing carried out at TOTAL. This methodology, which can be applied for other software evaluation, allows a fair and objective comparison of different techniques.
