Abstract
Refracted waves are not generated from interface between overlying higher velocity layer and underlying lower velocity bed. But with using joint refraction and reflection data, low velocity layer is specified “Ref. [1]”. In this paper, damp least Square inversion method with joint of refraction and reflection data is used to calculate final velocity of low velocity layer (LVL) from initial model “Ref. [2]”. Although, it is impossible to estimate velocity of LVL so precisely but maximum velocity for LVL could be estimated.
