Abstract

Georadar studies were employed to verify a hypothesis that the St Benedict Church on the Lasota Hill was constructed as a palatium-rotunda complex that could serve for court functions before building the Wawel Cathedral and castle. The georadar profiles suggest the existence of underground structures that could constitute the remaints of palatium dated on tenth century.
