Determination of Dispersion Curves from 3D Seismic Surveys

The presented method is a modification of the well-known SASW method. The algorith is tested on a real dataset measured above a refilled mine pit. Phase velocity maps are generated directly from shot records. Local dispersion curves are determined by the most frequent values instead of using tomographic inversion. Finally, the phase velocities are plotted on velocity maps at each frequency.
