Abstract
In this paper we present some initial results of our investigations in creating a meaningful and realistic link between two numerical models that can be used to enhance our understanding of the process of migration of DNAPL and of the GPR’s potential for its detection. The aim is to simulate realistic GPR scans using an electromagnetic simulator from realistic subsurface DNAPL spills as obtained using a hydrogeological fluid flow model.
