Abstract

This paper which objective is for reservoir simulation and field development forecast of Beruk field as a mature reservoir, combined all available data (geology, geophysics & petrophysics) into a representative 3D geo-model of the field. Core data provided stratigraphic marker and various depositional facies. The reservoir heterogeneity which was gained from facies core combined with well logs analysis, used as input data for defining electrofacies. Within the detail structural framework, those properties were then distributed to the entire reservoir using stochastic for the Bar facies and deterministic for the Channel facies modeling techniques. Obtained detail information about facies properties, geometry and distribution were hope to reduce development well drilling risk, to develop better reservoir management and to gives more precision in reserve calculation to support the government campaign for oil and gas production sustainability.
