Abstract
Goldbearing zone «Blagojev Kamen» is located in the near vicinity of the Copper Mine Majdanpek. The ore zone is spread at surface of around 200 km2 ( 25 km X 8 km), direction north – south, formed of volcanic – sedimentary – metamorfic formation of green shales of proterozoic age with intrusived magmatics in a form of smaller dikes of various geological age: gabbros, plagiogranites, andesites and quartz veins, formed as the result of metamorphism and hydrothermal processes. Pyrite is always present with gold and silver mineralization, until galenite and sphalerite are not always present in quartz veins.
