Abstract
Inversion for Thomsen-type anisotropic parameters is considered based on surface seismic and well data. A 2D model consists of a dipping reflector in homogeneous transversely isotropic medium. The first part of the work is devoted to inversion problem stability for different datasets such as wide- and narrow-azimuth data and checkshot data along the deviated well. In the second part a misfit is estimated for Thomsen-type anisotropic parameters obtained through inversion of TTI seismic data using VTI model.
