Methodology of Detection of Oil-Saturated Zones in the Middle Jurassic Sedimentary Rocks in Western Siberia

The technique of detection of oil-saturated zones within Middle Jurassic reservoirs in cross-well space was shown. The methodology is based on the low-frequency amplitude analysis of the seismic data using the results of well logging. The technique involves accounting for reservoir's thickness variations, and allows to separate oil-saturated zones from water-saturated.
